Thank you for applying to become a member of Marine Rescue NSW (MRNSW).
If you come on board as a member of Marine Rescue NSW, you will join more than 3,000 professionally trained volunteers who are committed to saving lives on the water.
Once you have submitted your application you will be contacted by a Unit representative who will organise to meet with you and provide more information about becoming a volunteer.
To apply to become a Marine Rescue Volunteer, you must complete all mandatory fields on the online form and agree to the Terms and Conditions at the end of the form.
You will have 60 minutes to complete this form before it times out. It will help if you have your Drivers Licence or Passport details as well as next of kin contact details on hand to complete the application
PLEASE NOTE: Marine Rescue NSW applicants are required to undergo a National Police History Record Check (NPHC). The existence of a criminal record will not necessarily disqualify you from membership and each case is treated on its merits. The information you provide to MRNSW will only be used to process your application, which includes the National Police History Check Consent Form. Personal information used for your Police Check will be clearly identified in the online form.
